I participated in the local Somerville Homeless Coalition 5k run over the weekend of the 4th. I have to admit that I felt pretty good for the first part of the race, but lost my confidence when a 40ish father passed me on hill pushing his 5 and 3 yr olds in a stroller. Despite that, it was a beautiful day and both Sharon and I had a lot of fun.
